Michael Newdow Vs U.S. Congress: Legality Of Court's Decision. Most legal and constitutional experts advocate separation of state and church keeping in view the multicultural society of the United States. The government also understands the significance of keeping state matters away from religious jurisdiction and therefore seeks to formulate laws, which are secular in nature.
